Our Mission
At SerenityQuest, our mission is to help people find true serenity, joy, and peace through evidence-based counseling that honors the whole person. Whether you feel like you have lost yourself in addiction, a relationship, have a loved one struggling with addiction, or experiencing a challenging transition in life, we will walk with you as you discover your purpose and find your meaning in life.

Welcome to SerenityQuest
SerenityQuest was created by Alisha who understands the substance use field and recognizes the need to find one's purpose, especially during the ups and downs of life.
After walking through personal and professional experiences that shaped a deep commitment to recovery care and finding oneself, SerenityQuest was founded to offer a place that feels peaceful, grounded, and hopeful.
Services
At SerenityQuest, we offer counseling for teens and adults who are navigating substance use, life transitions, and mental health concerns that often show up alongside them. Whether you feel stuck in a pattern you cannot break, experiencing a life transition (big or small), or you are working to stay steady in recovery, you will find a supportive space to be honest, build practical coping skills, and move toward real peace.
Substance Use Counseling If alcohol or drugs have started to feel bigger than you, you are not alone. Substance use counseling at Serenity Quest helps you understand what is driving the patterns, build real-world coping skills, and create a plan for change that fits your life. Whether you are ready for sobriety, early in recovery, or trying to prevent relapse, you will be met with respect and steady support.
Addiction Recovery Support Recovery is more than “stopping.” It is learning how to live again with stability, clarity, and self-trust. We support you as you rebuild what addiction has impacted, including identity, relationships, confidence, and day-to-day life. This is a space to be honest about setbacks and keep moving forward without shame.
Dual Diagnosis Counseling (Mental Health + Substance Use) When anxiety, depression, trauma, or chronic stress are part of the story, substance use support cannot be one-size-fits-all. Dual diagnosis counseling addresses mental health and substance use together, so you are not trying to “fix one” while the other keeps pulling you under. We help you find healthier ways to cope, feel more grounded, and make lasting change.
Teen Counseling Teen years can be intense, and many teens are carrying more than they know how to name. Serenity Quest offers a supportive place for teens to talk through stress, mood changes, substance use concerns, and family conflict. When appropriate, we also include parent support to help the whole family move toward healthier patterns.
Life Transitions and Purpose Sometimes the hardest part is the feeling that you lost yourself along the way. This service is for people navigating major life changes, relationship pain, or that “I feel stuck and I do not know why” season. Together, we focus on clarity, values, and practical steps that help you move forward with steadiness and hope
Art Therapy and Play Therapy (as appropriate) Not everyone processes best through conversation alone. Creative approaches can help clients, especially teens, express what is difficult to put into words and explore emotions in a safe, supported way. These methods can be integrated into sessions when they fit your goals and needs.
Support for Families and Loved Ones When someone you love is struggling with substance use, it can feel confusing, exhausting, and isolating. Serenity Quest offers support for spouses, parents, and family members who are trying to help while also staying healthy themselves. In counseling, we can talk through what is happening, clarify what is and is not in your control, strengthen boundaries, and build practical tools for communication, safety planning, and next steps, so you are not carrying this alone.
